Fright Haunted Ferrari

Comment: Is the following story true?

A man saw a ferrari at a used-car sale and asked for the price of the car.
The salesman lit up with a smile and said he'd give it to the man for $500
dollars. The man bought the car instantly on the spot after hearing the
ridiculously cheap deal.

The man had the car for months now, but on a cold, winter day as he got
into the driver's seat he was startled to see someone in the rear-view
mirror. He quickly turned around and saw nothing in the empty seat and
quickly shrugged it off thinking he must have imagined it.

As the cold days went by, the car doors started to lock up on him, the
engine would stall, and he would hear sounds of something hitting in the
back. The man started getting anxious about this bad omen. That horror
soon showed itself as he was driving to the airport to pick up his
relatives. He looked up and saw 3 bloody bodies in the rear-view mirror
staring at him. He screamed and realized that this car is really haunted
and fled from the car.

Later he heard the story of the car from the salesman. The police found
the car 2 years ago abandoned in an empty airport parking stall where 2
dead bodies were found in the the back seat and another one found in the
trunk.

So in cold weather the door mechanism froze up, and the engine stalled. I've had a few of those murder cars.

Probably couldn't pay the parking fees.

Even Ferrari's big cars (the various vintage Superamericas, the 412, the 456, and whatever other 2+2s they've made over the years) don't have big enough trunks for a dead body. At least not a whole one. The mid engined ones don't even have back seats.

Most Ferrari's don't have back seats. Giving the story-teller the benefit of the doubt that this one does indeed have one, a couple of other questions come to mind:

The cold weather start: in northern states, Ferraris are not driven in the winter. The car should have been garaged before its first cold weather start. Maybe this guy is from a warm climate and had a freak cold day.

Picking up people from the airport: No one is picking up anyone from the airport in a Ferrari UNLESS it is only one person being picked up and said person has only one carry-on bag. As someone else stated, Ferrari trunks are not designed to actually hold anything. And even if it had a back seat, no adult is going to fit back there.

Some models do. The sixties 330 GT and 365 GTs were "2+2"s, which meant that they had small back seats good for kids or short trips. The 365 GT was almost a four seater Daytona, and in the 80's Ferrari built the 400/412i series, which were front engined 2+2's, and they even came with automatic transmissions. Ferrari built strictly two seaters till the 90's with the 456 GT, and the current 612 is also a four seater. Again, the back seats aren't like the back seats in a proper sedan like a BMW 3-series. Or even a Honda Civic. But they're there, and a person could sit in them.

Come to think of it, Pininfarina (I think) makes a full four door version of the 456,and even an estate version. But these are as rare as rocking horse poop.

I've never actually been in any of these cars, and can only claim to have actually seen a couple of the more modern cars in person.

Vanishing

Few Ferraris have back seats or trunks, agreed. As for starting on a winter's day, if the car in this legend was an older one, it may well have problems. Ferraris are rare and expensive, so are Ferrari mechanics.

I thought I saw a haunted ferrari once. It was driving down the road with no one behind the wheel. Then I got closer and saw it was a little person driving.

A point a friend brought up: Why would ghosts care about leg room? Their knees touching or being cramped isn't on their usual concern list...
