What luck, GM. She must have originally chosen a classic pattern.

LTTMMH: getting the sewing room to the stage of putting little things away, instead of shifting around large piles.

I'm happy for my supervisor and her husband because today they are welcoming their first child. I'm also happy that I am able to help them out by dog-sitting their two beagles.

Dawn--yup got a house full of beagles this weekend!--Storm

I like the way he licks his chops right before the roar, like he was psyching himself up for it or something.

You don't just leap into a big thing like that. You have to get yourself ready.

I played it for Ash and he didn't seem impressed. He said, "Oh just put a binky in that kid's mouth and leave me alone! I have important things to do!" And then he wiggled a little bit and went to sleep.

I love the volcano cam, too.

LTTMH: Both of my nephews want the cross-stitch pictures that my mother made and that I offered to them. As part of my "cleaning out the sewing room" project, I went through a box of her embroidery materials and offered an essentially completed item to each of them. Now I just had to get off my duff and get them framed.

Pearl has back dewclaws that really stick out. Well, the vet looked at them and said that they can be easily amputated, and gave us an estimate. The estimate was not as high as I was expecting.

I had to get Windows 10, but I've managed to bring my desktop back from the precipice of death. It's not 100% essential that I have a desktop as I use my tablet 99% of the time but there's still some things that just work better on my desktop.

I won a GoodReads drawing! I've been entering them, but I've never won, until now. So this is a nice change of pace.

I slept really well last night, and Ferdinand was a good walky-boy this morning, two things that make me very happy.

The other day I was in my car, waiting for a train to pass, when I happened to look to my right. It turned out I was next to a doggy daycare. It must have been outside time, because this big yard was filled with maybe two dozen dogs running around, wagging their tails, and generally enjoying life. It made my day.

Please take this in the just-kidding, lighthearted fashion it is intended:

Are those prescription or, uh, "non-prescription" little happy things you're taking?

Oh! That IS a very happy thing indeed, and good for you!

But just to clarify, I was commenting on the slight misspelling of "from" to "form" - as if your clock were either being beamed in by the USS Enterprise, or else certain mind-altering pharmaceuticals were altering your perceptions.

It is a very happy thing. I hadn't even noticed the typo until you pointed it out..

I sometimes think form for from has to be the second most common typo (after hte for the).
