Sounds like my FIL. His house was always sweltering and he was still cold and wearing sweaters or a flannel shirt. He was also in his 90s though so he had some excuse!

The third Wednesday of the month is food truck night at Folsom Zoo. I always go because I enjoy sampling the different types of food from the vendors. But today it's raining and windy and chilly, not exactly pleasant weather for outdoor dining, and it doesn't look like there's much chance of the weather improving by dinner time.

That's an even bigger problem for the vendors. Their sales are likely to be way down.

I later found out that this month's event was canceled due to weather, so their sales will be zero unless they managed to find some other location at the last minute. They say the event is on rain or shine, but I guess a major winter storm is enough to cancel.

Overworked my abdominal muscles. Not really liking the sensation.

Coworker complained about the heat. They told her it has to be 21 C (70 F) and they measured 22.7 (73 F). She's worried they might turn down the heat. The building feels chilly to most people, and it's worse if you have one of those jobs where you sit all day.

She could just go down and up the stairs.

(We're on the 4th floor (5th for North America).)

My first world problem. I'm in Vienna right now for a reunion of my UN colleagues from my last mission. My hotel is right downtown and it is a nice, but very old building.

My problem, the main elevator does not get to my floor (the 6th). I have to take an elevator from ground floor to 5th floor, exit and move to another to go to the 6th. That is such a pain.

This reunion is marred by the short elevators. haha

First world problem, people who insist on using FB to personal message me rather than using the phone or using an email. That wouldn't be a problem if they would respond when I answer them! I've lost count of the times a few of my friends have Pm'd me with a question or a request and then never get back to me when I answer them. And FB being what it is I know they've been using their FB account. When we finally connect they tell me they never noticed they had a message waiting to be read. Ok. But YOU initiated the conversation! Honestly, just pick up the damn phone!

I miss the stairs, (I now work in a single floor office) I used to go up and down 1-6 flights of stairs about 5-10 times a day, it was usually faster than the elevator, but if I had to carry anything, computers, monitors, etc. I would have to take the elevator due to OH&S restrictions, but most of the time I could just run up and down. I loved it. But my career has passed the need for going to users desks and now I just sit all day.
