Gah! Someone used the fake name John Jacob Smith in another, more serious thread, and now I have John Jacob Jingleheimer Scmidt running through my head.

Who wants to take my Online Bling out for a walk?

My earworm used to call me on my cellphone
late night when it needed to play
but now I ear it everywhere
I don't think I can stand to bear!

I don't know if I've just somehow become more susceptible to earworms or if it's just the type of music I like or what... but once again thanks to my "TallGeekyRadio" Pandora station...

Apparently my mind is not satisfied with simple annoying earworms. My mind keeps replaying Somewhere over the Rainbow, as sung by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (the Hawaiian/ukulele version), with an overlay of the 'puppy-monkey-baby' chant from the commercial. They don't exactly mesh, but they don't clash either, perhaps because the chant is so unmusical.

Perhaps my earworm can help get that out of your head. How do you fancy a science fiction double feature?

I heard that Alessia Cara song playing kind of muffled in the distance, and it was making me nuts because all I could hear was part of the Portishead song on a loop, over and over, never progressing.

Once you've heard the theme from "Chica Vampiro", you can't get it out of your mind.

Ever since seeing the 'Siberian unicorn' thread, I've had 'Russian Unicorn' in my head.

Similarly, seeing "How do you define 'wealthy'?" has gotten "If I Were a Rich Man" stuck in my head.

Have any of you ever seen the Sponge Bob episode where he had an ear worm? Great episode! I think it was called Musical Doodle. IIRC, the worm was so firmly entrenched in Sponge Bob's head that his friend Sandy had to come up with a way to get rid of it.

And for those who now have the Sponge Bob theme as an earworm.......you're welcome!
