We just got back from the grocery store, and the cats color-coded themselves...

Clearly someone has neglected their training in how to cat. Cats should always go for the most contrasting color.

GenYus, I suspect the reason for the principle is that cat hair shows up best on contrasting color clothes and furniture. The cats of TGG's household may expect the next use of the grocery bags to involve trash rather than groceries, and therefore think that the principle doesn't apply because the humans aren't going to care whether cat hair's visible on the bags.

Pretty cat curl!

-- my parents had a black cat with white whiskers, years ago, around the time I'd recently moved out. Mustachio reminds me of him.

Hello Kitty

When you go camping, before putting your boots on in the morning you must always check them for spiders. At my house, you need to check your footwear for something else...

Lordy, Marmalade is getting to be so big. Has he made any attacks on the tree or anything like that?

Nothing on the tree yet, but he has broken several of the people from my Christmas village. Fortunately I have super glue, and have been putting the people away when we go to bed at night.
