Pig Wild Boars Overrun ISIS Camp

Maybe I should have posted this in the UL section.

Let the bacon jokes begin--I'm pretty sure they won't be boaring!

There's a reason that in ancient Greece, pig farming was considered to be one of the most dangerous professions around.

There's a reason we eat pigs... to keep those menaces under control!!

It's got nothing to do about how bacon tastes good!

We have to eat them before they eat us.

Thanks, but you don't have to snort and squeal about it.

I think that may have been edited to fix; I thought of that, but it didn't work when I tried it earlier. But maybe there was just something wrong with my swinedow.

-- the actual story is rather the reverse of funny.

Well if you can trust what you read on Tumblr and really we all know that it is, Boars are nfbsking nightmares! To paraphrase the post, when boars get hurt, they don't run away and try to minimize injury; their response is "I'm taking you down with me, MotherNFBSKer!"

Maybe we can talk to the Jews. They seem to have worked out some kind of peace treaty with the boars. Yeah, everyone else has tried to exterminate them, but the boars know to leave them alone.

As someone who did a large project on the effects of feral pigs as an invasive species while in college, I'd like to point out that they're also busy overrunning numerous parts of the US.

Feral pigs, and wild boars, basically need access to fresh water in order to survive. That's pretty much it- they can eat almost anything and they're tough enough that they can survive in any almost any environment.

Basically the only place I've ever heard of them not causing an environmental catastrophe after being introduced was Venezuela, since as it turns out, jaguars prefer eating invasive pigs over native species.

Pan flutes for guinea pigs, jaguars for feral pigs. Good to know.

Wild boars is always rendered as Duran Duran's Wild Boys in my head. Much more entertaining.
