More fun with names! Which I've added to the TVTropes page for the series...

The woman Don West and Dr. Smith rescue is named Angela Goddard. That's a mix of Angela Cartwright (the original series Penny) and Mark Goddard (the original Don West).

Tried to like the show, but found nearly all the characters unsympathetic or dull. I need some-one to cheer for and couldn't find them. Still, there is so much genre TV these days it isn't the loss it would have been when ST:TNG was about the only show available.

I'm two episodes in, and so far I like it. I noted the difference in altitude callout vs the gauge myself, and a few other things, but, as I tend to do when I WANT to like something, I'm accepting the premise and enjoying the bit.

I did watch the original when it was on TV (I had a MAJOR schoolboy crush on Angela Cartwright.) and enjoyed it.

I think that sums up my feelings, too. None of the characters actually give me reasons to care about them.

This is cute... apparently there was a pitch to do a Lost in Space animated series in 2003. Here's a rough-up of what it may have looked like.

I'd have watched that!

Dr Smith is Mr Magoo's great-great-great-grandson?

LOL Seems so!

I like the Chuck Jones inspired look of it. It's especially apparent with Will and Penny.
