Southbound on US 17 in Clay County, spotted another vehicle with the "M" being an up-side down "W".

A washing machine at the laundromat had finished. One blanket or article of clothing ended up pressed against the window of the washing machine door and the way it bulged and folded, it looked like a grumpy face.

I took a picture and sent it to my sister, who pointed out that in one of the face's "eyes" was a smaller, extremely realistic face

There had obviously been a bit of drama at my flats (or rather the block next door) last night because what looked like the whole of a man's wardrobe was scattered over the pavement and part of the driveway, in a place that suggested it had been thrown off one of the balconies. You see that sort of thing in films and TV but not often in reality!

You should go scavenge. There might be somethings good!

It had all gone by the time I next went past... besides which, I'm not sure I need to be scavenging clothes of unknown origin off a pavement! I have a job now!

On my way to the corner shop just now there was what looked like a pile of snow lying in the shade behind an advertising hoarding. It snowed here a couple of weeks ago, but I thought it had all melted long ago and was wondering how this patch had survived. Then next to it there was a small, upside-down red wheelie bin with "Bird" and a picture of a ladybird drawn on it.

When I went into the shop the mystery was solved - there was a man defrosting one of the freezers, and he clearly found it more convenient to dump the ice on the pavement outside rather than try to find a sink! (It's a wide pavement area - it wasn't in anybody's way or causing a hazard, and it would only have been a few feet for him to push the bin...)
