Well HELL YEAH a tin foil shortage is a recipe for disaster.

How the frick are we supposed to fashion our protective headgear without tinfoil? Aliens and libruls and socialists will have free run of our brains. At least until the zombies come to eat them.

We need a tinfoil hat wearing smilie.

Comment: Is it true that Facebook.com is now more or less owned by the
Russian mafia? I have heard that the Russian mafia has a controlling
interest in Facebook stock. And, now anyone wishing to delete their name
and information from the Facebook website cannot do so. They are
apparently put onto and inactive list, but they are permanently part of
the website. Meaning I suppose, they can be scrutinized at any time for
any reason--by the mafia?

Close! It's actually owned by the gay Russian mafia. Michael Ovitz beware!

They *claim* they're Russian mafia, but none of them has produced a valid birth certificate.

Looks like somebody was a pretty crappy copyist. They look nothing alike!

Comment: Cookies on state-run computers can be used to locate Obama's
opposition on the Universal Health Care debate. If you send in the e-mails
of people who are sending things opposing Obama-Care, they can use it to
block your computer. Heard it on Glenn Beck radio show 8/7/09

They make it eat a lot of fiber and then it totally hogs your bathroom. SO annoying.

It doesn't even make sense. Why would they want to "block" the computers of people who are finking on those who oppose health care reform?

Pseudo_Croat almost has it right.

Since the position of Secretary of State does not pay all that well, Hillary went out and her realtors (I originally mispelled this word as 'realrots' which I believe was a Freudian slip caused by my recent experience with selling a house) license. She is in fact selling Sarah Pallin's house since the Pallins are headed for a divorce. The Russians are interested since they don't like people looking out the window at Russia.

Comment: I just recived the following from a friend asking if it was real.
Of course I don't believe it and checked here to verify. You don't seem to
have a specific article dealing with this, but it seems a combination of
the AMERO thrown in with your Bank Closure page.

--------------------------------------

August 11, 2009
By Stephen Quayle

FYI, I had a conversation with my friend in international banking
yesterday and tried to warn him about the impending bank holiday and
currency exchange. He said that because he works with people at the top
(Rothschilds and Rockefellers, etc) he would know if this were true. He
did however confirm again that all central banks have been stocking up on
the new Amero currency. I encouraged him to check out my info.

Well, I received this in an e-mail from him just a few hours after our
phone conversation:

"As to your Bank Holiday information of this morning, the
following is from a close CIA connection, the way it will come down is
that starting 8/24, groups of banks will be closed in certain regions of
the country for a week or so. They will open again, and then other groups
of banks in different regions will be closed; and on and on it will go,
until all the banks in the country have gone through that process.

The banks will be opened with a new global currency. Indeed the
ratio will be 1 to 6, or 1 to 12. Thus, if you had formerly $6M in the
Bank, after a ratio of 1 to 6 with the new currency, you will get 1M value
in the supposed new legal tender."

Time will tell, but this guy would not lightly say this, and he does
have the CIA connections for the info.

My suggestion is that any of you who have much money in the bank might
want to consider changing some of it to gold coins, Swiss francs or some
other safer currency before the end of August.

This is a secret? What happens after the first bank closings? All customers that don't blab get a bigger cut?

Of all the government agencies that might be involved in U.S. bank closures, isn't the CIA one of the least likely?

Frankly, the "banks in one region close, then reopen" sounds a bit like how Chase is handling the transfer of existing WaMu customers. Not all regions have been changed over yet.

Sept. 6, too. It's a 48-hour conspiracy!

Hmmm ... 48 Hours ... CBS is in on this too!
