Superdome. As in, "Each January, the Sugar Bowl is held at the Superdome. The Superbowl usually happens in January (though sometimes it happens in February), but it is not always in New Orleans."

I understand the problems behind the demolitions. But the houses in question aren't fit for habitation anyway. And you have to bulldoze the stuff away before you can build anything new. In the meantime, there are people with no (affordable or suitable) place to live. There simply aren't any easy answers here.
