It was Monday again, so I did my usual thing of going to the local Mexican restaurant for the cheap taco's for lunch and then to a movie.

I saw "I, Tonya" I was in two minds about going to see this, cause my brother used to ice skate back in the 80's (it was one of the reasons we moved to Brisbane in 85) and I remember when all that happened. And cause I my brother I was aware of the politics of competitive figure skating. Not that anything like that happened at his rink but we were over all that. But it was getting good reviews and I did want to see Margot Robbie's performance. Like "Three Billboards" there weren't many likable characters and the violence was hard to take because it was real and based on real events, but like "Three Billboards" it kept my interest throughout.

And I now know what a triple axial jump is. Hey my brother may have been an ice-skater, but I wasn't and I only know what a few of jumps etc. are. A triple axial does sound tricky. No wonder that skater's make such a big deal about them.

Finally saw Coco at a friend's house (on their new 4k TV -- nice!). I loved it. The story, the visuals, the characters. I think Benjamin Bratt's performance was my favorite.

I've been meaning to ask about that movie, given how little buzz I've seen on it compared to other Disney winter films.

I finally managed to sit down and watch Safety Last!. It was actually funnier than I expected.
