Canada The lost train of nowhere

For years it’s been one of Ottawa’s most elusive urban legends – that somewhere below LeBreton Flats lies entombed an abandoned rail tunnel, complete with a lost train.

There is at least one example of a train being buried in a tunnel in the US, but it isn't an urban legend.

The Church Hill tunnel at Richmond, VA, collapsed and trapped a work train in 1925.
