Moore is considering a push for a recount because a Democratic victory is not God's will.

Yay, only 70% of white voters in Alabama (and a lot of national Republicans) supported a guy who has put his own religious views above the Constitution and been kicked out of office a couple of times, and has a thing for young girls.

I don't care how close it was or how many still voted for him the main thing is Trump lost another one. May this keep on happening until he finally gets escorted out of the White House in handcuffs (please Santa, I've been so good this year and this is the only thing I really want).

He said himself, "God is always in control." He should just accept Go
d's will and go home. As for "pushing for" a recount mine is he can have one if he wants to pay for it. |

It is only God's will when it goes your way. Otherwise, you either deny it, or pray to God to change his mind.

Maybe my understanding of religion is weak but wouldn't most people expect God to vote liberal? In which case, he has probably been purged from the Alabama voter list.

I would say most religeous people expect God to vote like they do (or vice versa). If you believe God is infallible, then why would you vote differently than you think God would?

Unfortunately, I suspect the lesson the Republicans will take from last night's election is not "We should stop nominating religious-extremist pedophiles" but "We need to do (even) more to prevent black people from voting."
Still...that's one more seat in a narrowly divided Senate. I'll take it. |

Gerrymandering is done at the state level. Some other decisions -- re voting machine types and locations etc. -- may be made at more local levels than that. |

Mike Huckabee (!) of all people responded to this: "God wasn't registered to vote in AL but the ppl who voted did speak and it wasn't close enough for recount. In elections everyone does NOT get a trophy. I know first hand but it's best to exit with class."

Boy, really tells you how unpopular Moore was in his own party with the number of Republicans that are telling him to just accept defeat.
