Default Young people are turning to classical music to escape ‘noise of modern life’

From the U.K.:

Classical music is wasted on millennials, like fine wine on a German shepherd. They don’t appreciate what they’re listening to. It’s just "background noise" to them.

The headline is true for me, for whatever it's worth, though I'm also somebody who still listens to terrestrial radio, so I might not be the best barometer for what young people do...

The hosts on my classical station are pleasant to listen to, and even though I don't thoroughly enjoy every single piece that gets played, it's better than using the scan function for ages going through all the other stations before stopping on a single song that's good before a less good song comes on immediately after it.

Roll eyes

It's the first generation to ever listen to classical music. How it even existed until now is anyone's guess. [/sarcasm]

Somewhere in another dimension of space-time, George Sand is saying this to Chopin.

I'll believe it when I hear some Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, et al blasting from a car sitting at my corner.
