Icon401 Photographer's stunning images of alopecia sufferers

It's a hair loss condition that often robs sufferers of their self-esteem and confidence.

Now a photographer has taken this stunning gallery of images of people with alopecia to raise awareness about the condition.

Daniel Regan, 28, said he wanted to tackle an issue that is often ignored by the public.

The caption writer clearly had a failure of imagination. All those pictures and only about four different captions.

Wonderful photos that deserved better captions.

Yes, "Write caption here" is seldom the best picture caption to use.

I don't think the pictures need captions. Not one of them. The looks on the models faces say more than words ever could. Beauty, pride, resignation, embarrassment, sadness, joy, and much more. Sometimes words just aren't necessary. Leave all the explaining about how uninformed most people are about alopecia for the article or maybe a program when you go to the gallery to see the images.
