To be fair, the Salvation Army in the USA also states that they do not discriminate and that their services are available to all.

But since gay marriage is legal in New York, some of these partners are probably actual spouses, not just de facto spouses. Or do you mean that they allow benefits to married same sex partners, but not unmarried ones?
