But he's going to make Mexico do it isn't he? Typical Trump, the jobs related to his mythical wall aren't even going to stay in the US!

And, under current law, impossible for certain sections. Some of the proposed fence would have to run through Native American reservations, particularly the Tohono O'Odham, whose reservation spans 75 miles of the US-Mexico border in Arizona. Current law would require the tribe to sign off on any use of their land (eminent domain cannot be used AIUI). Given how strained relationships are between the Tohono O'Odham and the Border Patrol, I doubt that permission would ever be given.

Not that I'd expect a little matter of rights of Native Americans to stop Trump.

Not to mention the cost of environmental damage; which the current amount of wall is already causing.

Trump will just talk to the Israelis on how they do it. Environment or borders be damned.

However, the added cost to the Israelis is the constant, vigilant security along every millimetre of that fence with more sensors per kilometre than the Berlin wall had.

So, it will be the wall that keeps on taking.

Why do newspapers still endorse candidates? I know why it was done historically, but to whom does it matter in 2016?
