A zoo in Egypt has denied painting black stripes on a donkey to make it look like a zebra after a photo of the animal appeared online.

It only looks like a donkey because the photo is in colour, of course.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I've recently learned that the "zebra" used in 2001: A Space Odyssey actually was one. A dead horse, I mean. Painted to look like a zebra.
