Comment: The rumor is not new to me, and in fact has been a source of many
contentious debates between me and my friends. The rumor concerns the
relationship between Hitler and his niece Geli Raubal - more specifically,
the murky web of lurid details that surround his sexual life, such as
allegations of corpophilia, undinism, the one testicle thing, and other
weird and disturbing stuff. Otto Strasser claims that Geli told him that
Hitler makes her stand over his face and urinate on him, and that she is
afraid because his demands of her are frankly a little too weird and she
doesn't know how to handle them. He is not a reliable source, however,
because Otto was involved in a power struggle and could have made this up
as mud-slinging material. The difficulty is that all these people are also
quite dead.

The corpophilia claims may be factual because the nature of daily life in
WWI and trench warfare situations was such that excretion was considered
one of the most pleasant daily rituals (a number of non-fictional books on
the subject of the Great War and its aftermath talk about the connection
between scatological tendencies and the trench life; fictional titles like
All Quiet on the Western Front make much mention of defecation, and
Gravity's Rainbow has a character who is into the poop because of his
experiences as a soldier, especially in WWI). Hitler took part in WWI for
four years as a bike messenger, one of the most dangerous duties for a
soldier at the time. He also enjoyed the hell out of the experience and
credits it with bringing manliness and order into his life. This
information, combined with the albeit vague but nonetheless lurid details
of his involvement with Geli warrants a thorough investigation into the
subject.
