Yeah, what he said! Cuz I did the math! And it proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that Obama's numbers are not really big when compared to the others on a per year basis. Er. Never mind.

In the Origins section it says, "(In fact, a kilometer is only about 62%
of a mile.)"

One Kilometer is longer than a mile. 1 kilometer = 0.621371 of a mile
according to distance translator I used.

Not quite but it's just enough to travel through time. In a metric DeLorean. 88 kph.

Comment: In your Humor > Loony Letters section, you have an article on a
Teacher writing a letter home about one of his students, Adam Hilliker.

http://www.snopes.com/humor/letters/hilliker.asp

After the image, in your explanation, you assert that one kilometer is 62%
of a mile; that makes it sound like one kilometer is shorter than one
mile.

Please forgive my confusion, but according to Google conversion, one
kilometer equals 0.621371 mile. That looks to me like one mile is SHORTER
than one kilometer, making the teacher's claim true and yours ...not so
much.

If it helps, I went to http://www.google.com and typed in "convert 1
kilometer to mile" to get the conversion I explained to you. Did I miss
something?

Comment: I read Snope's rebuttal of the "lost day". In the rebuttal,
there is a statement that one cannot determine if time stopped.
Astra-scientists can ascertain if there is a time discrepancy by the
movement of the stars in relation to each other and to earth. If one
projects these relationships back in time, and there is no loss of time,
then there should be no discontinuity with respect to each other. The
different stars and galaxies move at different rotational and lateral
rates and thus any discontinuity in the projected paths would provide
evidence of a change.

I do not dispute that NASA had not run the calculations, but I don't
believe that Snope's can give a definite "False" to the concept of a lost
period of time until this exercise is accomplished.

Comment: Are there 11 to 14 million illegal aliens in Arizona who are not
working, not paying any taxes, and receiving free medical care and
services from the government?

Yes, and most are from the planet Zzzitzblarg in the Horsehead Nebula.

NSFBSK Zzzitzblargians! They come to our planet and get free medical care and Government services. Next thing you know, they'll be taking our jobs.

But the "illegals" wouldn't fill out the census forms, so they wouldn't be counted. In fact, if it wasn't so hard to get a parking spot at the mall, nobody would have noticed.

Comment: We have heard that as the ice bergs melt the sea level will rise.
When I freeze ice it expands then when melted it shrinks. So is this
information true or not about rising sea levels?
