Oh, yes, that's very true.

The members of LMFAO are not nephews of Berry Gordy. Redfoo is Berry Gordy's son. SkyBlu is Berry Gordy's grandson.

These articles used both the Mowry twins and the Olsen twins as examples? Seriously?

These articles make more sense when the pair don't share a surname (example: actors Malcom McDowell and Alexander Siddig/Siddig el Fadil are uncle and nephew) or share such a common surname that you wouldn't automatically assume a relationship to somebody else of the same name (I wouldn't have put together that Lily Collins was the daughter of Phil Collins, since Collins is a fairly common surname).

But using *twins*? Whose fame primarily cashed upon their twinship?

I noticed he other day that one of the actors in Game of Thrones is named Oona Chaplin. I thought, "that can't be a coincidence" and no, it's not -- she's the daughter of Geraldine Chaplin, granddaughter of Charles and Oona (O'Neill) Chaplin, great-granddaughter of Eugene O'Neill, etc.

The caption on the Mowry twins picture says:

Quote:
Of course we know twins Tia and Tamera are siblings, but did you know that Smart Guy star Tahj is their little bro?
And the Olsen twins one says:

Quote:
Everyone knows the Olsen twins, but they’re [sic] younger sister is a rising star.
So no, they're not using those twins as an example. (And both pictures also show the other sibling, too - at least as an inset in the Olsen case.)

Also that second article has changed since it was first posted. It used to have only 8 sets of relatives - the Olsen example wasn't there, or I'd have listed them in the post among people I'd heard of.
