Judge Judge Rejects Heirs' Claims to an Oil Fortune

A Federal district judge has ruled that thousands of people who say they are heirs to the Spindletop oilfield fortune have no claim to the land or the estimated $200 billion generated since the first gusher there in 1901.

Comment: My sister heard a speech by President-elect Obama stating that he
would cancel all income taxes for people earning less that $55,000.00 per
year.
Is this a true statement from him, when was it broadcast, and when will it
take place???

Comment: We've heard that the Rev. Fred Phelps of Westboro Baptist church
in Topeka, anti-gay funeral picketer, has died. Unable to verify this.

Comment: I recently heard:The law states that any corporation that
produces a prescription medication that allows (due to the patent) that no
other company may produce a generic of that medication, MUST give to
people in need of this medication, FREE medication.

Comment: I drink a lot of tea. My issue is i am not supposed to drink
caffeine in my diet. I found a method of decaffeinating where you rinse
the caffeine from the tea; You pour boiling water on the tea bag, let it
steep 40 seconds, dump that water out and 90% of the caffeine goes with
it. The caffeine is said to be released in that first 40 seconds. I drink
it this way and it seems to work, but is this a placebo effect? Is this
just a rumor that we can decaffeinate tea at home?

Jaded

You'd think someone would have invented decaffeinated tea by now.

Comment: Having sex has three times as much effect of relieving pain from
a usual morphine dose.

This is all over fb.. wondered if there is any validity to it?

Hmmmmm. Sounds like an experiment is in order.

I'll need a bunch of morphine and several willing females...

Comment: Rumor has it that a purchaser of Remy-Martin's Louis XIII cognac
can take his empty bottle to the winery and have it refilled at no
charge--provided the buyer also brings the original box and proof of
purchase. Sounds far-fetched to me but...

Extra bonus points if you get it directly from the hands of Louis XIII himself.

Comment: Desert Storm, Saudi Kuwait Liberation Medal. We had to sign for
them back in 1991 because we were told them were made of real gold and
silver. Rumors are flying that they are worth thousands of dollars now.
Any truth to any of this?

Comment: This is all over twitter and I have not been able to validate it
through NASA directly.

effects of zero gravity on your body, NASA will pay you $15000."

Comment: Fred Phelps of Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka Kansas has been
known in the media for picketing funerals and spewing perverted versions
of the bible. There is a rumor he is dead. Is there a way you could
confirm this?
