Comment: I drink a lot of tea. My issue is i am not supposed to drink
caffeine in my diet. I found a method of decaffeinating where you rinse
the caffeine from the tea; You pour boiling water on the tea bag, let it
steep 40 seconds, dump that water out and 90% of the caffeine goes with
it. The caffeine is said to be released in that first 40 seconds. I drink
it this way and it seems to work, but is this a placebo effect? Is this
just a rumor that we can decaffeinate tea at home?
