When Mr. K gets in from mowing (the riding mower has headlights), I will make a frittata-thing (breakfast sausage, red bell pepper, onion, mushroom, cheese and eggs), and fried potatoes.

I bought some paneer and a can of Patak's vindaloo sauce just now. I can hardly wait! I'm going to try not to eat the whole thing all by myself.

If I can get myself together, lasagna. If not, some poached chicken and...something...better be lasagna.

Chipotle and ice cream. And beer. Because it's one of those days.

Graham crackers spread with peanut butter and nutella and topped with sliced bananas, and milk, it turns out, as I have no energy for either lasagna or poached chicken.

Seaweed salad. Two pieces each of yellowtail, salmon, albacore, japanese mackerel, and egg cake nigiri. A roll with tempura mackerel, avocado, sprouts, and spicy sauce.

Black-eyed peas, Brussels sprouts, steamed carrots, and orzo. (I cooked the orzo with butter, dill, and garlic -- really good.) And a side of Triscuits with cream cheese.

Party food--various grilled veggies, cheese, crackers, proscuitto, and a chocolate chip cookie. And a Coke.

A fried egg, chickpeas, and some diced peppers and onions.

I was still hungry later, so I made penne pasta with roasted garlic, tomatoes, and carrots.

Your pasta sounds yummy, Cervus.

I had potatoes I needed to use up (Yukon gold, Idaho, and Michigan) and two leftover pork chops, plenty of shredded cheese and some Guernsey Farms sour cream, along with a can of cream of celery soup in the pantry. I hand grated the all the potatoes together and made a casserole not too unlike the cheesey potatoes I make, with the pork chops deboned and cubed up in the casserole. Yummy! We want that again.

Cheesecake with whipped cream and cherries.

Because I'm a grown-up, that's why.

We were round at friends', so chilli and rice, and a stupidly large amount of Ben and Jerry's Vermonster.

I didn't eat much chilli, so my dinner was about 4/5 ice cream.
