I don't think so either but if I hadn't put that bit in spoilers, people who had chosen to not watch the trailer would be losing their minds saying I'd spoiled them, since they have no context for the comment.

Oh yeah. I meant to post this awhile ago when I was here. Apparently Anthony Sturat Head of "Buffy the Vampire" fame (as well as other shows) is a "Dr Who" fan and was keen to play the doctor in the new series. They seem to have gone for younger generations though. But it does explain his involvement in the series.
