Comment: There is supposedly a thing called The Ebner Effect (easily
searchable on the web), written about in a book, written by two Swiss gentlemen who conveniently died shortly after the announcment in 2000, called The Pimeval Code (also easily searchable), claiming that running powerful electrostatic fields over seeds and eggs will cause them to spontaneously evolve, or devolve, claiming ancient ferns and extinct species of salmon have resulted. Being familiar with molecular biology and genetics, it sounds like load of bull to me, but there are a lot of people I know who claim this effect is real. |

Comment: My co-worker insists that blueberries would never ripen if not
for the work of small spiders. I think this is ridiculous. She claims it causes the "bloom" or fogginess that is on blueberries. I contend that blueberries and all forms of vegetation have bugs. |

That's true. I've got an oak tree in my backyard that won't load properly, and the sunflowers we planted have different issues with save games. The lawn keeps getting stuck when you walk to far to the left in level 14.

Comment: I keep seeing stories like this
So, a man I met once told me that he was going on a business trip. He usually took the interstate, but this time he had more time as for he had left early, so he decides to go through the mountains and enjoy the view. He was driving along a dirt road that cuts through the mountains at night, when suddenly he sees what appears to be a car crash. There where 'bodies' on the road and his wife was a paramedic so he knew a thing or two about saving people. As hes pulling up he said that he felt like something was a little wrong so he decides to pull forward about 40 yards before he gets out to try to help these people. As he stops the car and is about to get out, he looks in his rear view mirror to see the 'bodies' sitting up, looking at him along with 5 or 10 others that had come out of the bushes. Needless to say he got the **** out of there. |

So there are 10 to 15 people staging a hold-out on "a dirt road that cuts through the mountains", "at night"? How is that efficient? How many cars will be passing there, at that hour, to be robbed?

Comment: A friend of mine recently claimed that an old adversary recently
told her he slipped a microchip into her food (without her knowing) a few years ago in order to remote-control my friend's health and make her experience various illnesses over the years. This sounds really weird and suspect, But is such a thing actually possible? (My friend is going to ask her doctor about getting some medical scans..) |

Of course it is possible. Happens all the time. The human body normally retains things one has swallowed for decades just in case there's something important in the food you ate.
