DD's Hammy cat's eyes are yellowy-green, but with an almost jade-green ring around the pupil. Very pretty.

ETA: And I love Spike's facial markings.

I love looking at these photos of everyone's pets. They are all beautiful animals, and they look like they're full of their own personality and attitude. Thank you all for sharing!

Penny (her full name is Penny Lane) is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Great call, Lainie!

Mr. Drama decided he needed to put his feet up on the bookshelf tonight.

Venus, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was just showing the video to my ds & he loved it. And then I went to the 2nd page & read the sad news.

Pixel now has a quilted ear. Three are a couple dozen bright pink sutures holding the two layers of the ear together.

Just beautiful! The setter in him really came out. And you can see that setter joie de vivre in his eyes.

I have no doubt you were blessed by having him in your life, and visa versa

She forgets how her legs work when the cone is on and just stands there... she has graduated from the cone fortunately and is healing nicely...

Cervus, he looks like such a happy dog.

Remember that. Remember what a happy life you gave him.

(And -- seconding some people in the other thread -- when you feel it's time to give another dog a home, that's when it's time. That's true whether it's this afternoon or not till next year. You will be not replacing him, but memorializing him by making another dog that happy.)

This is Pasha. (His full name is Pavel Valerievich Dogsyuk, but that's a bit long for a goggie, so Pasha it is.)

He came from the Lucas County Dog Warden. The dogcatcher picked him up running around, so we don't know anything about where he came from. The poor guy was eaten up with fleas so badly when they got him that he had almost no fur. It's starting to grow back, but it's still really sparse in patches. We think he's mostly Aussie cattle dog, with possibly some Aussie shepherd thrown in. Although a guy at the park today asked if he was a border collie because of the pointy face, so there may be some other sort of herding breeds mixed in. At any rate, he's a total love sponge and cuddle bug.
