Catbox: clean! Refrigerator: clean! Next step is to go through the stashy places like desk, coffee table, under the sofa (thanks, Liz) and sort into toss, goodwill, and there that thing is!

Movies tonight!

LTTMMH: I'm getting new landscape timber. Taa Daaa! You may or may not have heard me mention the rotting landscape timbers. But, no more! They removed the old ones today.

I can only imagine. My mom had a bunch crated away when we went through her stuff. We had a lot to do and little time to rediscover treasures. I'm so glad you'll have the opportunity.

LTTMMH: warm weekdays because then that tall attractive young man on my bus wears short sleeves and I get to admire his arms and shoulders.

This is actually a big thing that makes me happy, too happy for Unhijackable.

As of 9:55pm CST, I completed my school term...research papers, final exams, everything. They were tough classes, but I made it through with A's in both. And now I get two weeks off.

I took both finals today, so I'm still a little dazed-feeling at the moment. But after a good night's sleep, I'm gonna run around dancing the Watusi or something. For now, I'll just keep fizzing with mirth while telling DH, "I'm so NFBSKing happy!"

My coworker went out today and got us cupcakes stuffed with ice cream. I got a s'mores flavored one, it was a really nice treat.

After a LTTMMNHAA (Large Thing that makes me not happy at all) in connection with my car, a repair shop and a long list of stuff that needed to be done with a price tag that I didn't expect, suddenly there was a LTTMMH:

The owner of said car repair shop told me that my car was so old and the repair bill so high, he would slash some of the costs, so that it would be worth it.

Yesterday I got my car back and I got almost 25% as a discount on the work and some of the spare parts and they did an oil change that is not even on the invoice

Well, I lied. It is not a LITTLE thing that makes me happy, it is a HUGE thing

That's great, Gravida. Maybe you could do an online review of the repair shop somewhere. It would be a nice extra "thank you" and you might help someone who's looking for a good, trustworthy place to take their car.

Today I shared a moment with a moth. I normally have a phobia of moths (it's about how they fly and for some reason I also don't like the thought of their legs, even though other insects have legs, they make me very tense and uncomfortable), but this was a Cinnabar Moth, a particularly un-mothy moth. I was walking back from the supermarket and it was in the path where many feet plod along, and it was fluttering awkwardly like it'd already been squished once. So I let it walk on my hand and went to the bushes at the side with it. It spent some more time on my hand before fluttering off to the bushes. Aww, I hope it wasn't stupid and went back to the pavement.

I also made an awesome pudding with my 3 year old nephew. It was a mix of vegan custard that I'd made in the pan, chopped strawberries and hundreds and thousands sprinkled in, then on top we put trifle sponges and more sprinkles.

I just fulfilled my 6-month savings goal, and am that much closer to a dream vacation. Any money I have leftover at the end of this year will also go into that fund as a bonus.

Counting today, and not counting if I come in for a few hours on Saturday, I have only 6 days left at this job which has been killing me and causing frequent panic attacks. Only 6.

The optician's office is going to replace my broken lens for free. Given that it was broken by a run in with a goat, I didn't really expect them to. That's not exactly normal wear and tear.

I released 2000 N. fallacis into my beds and hillside plantings last evening. I'm a happy camper!

I'm wondering how one makes a vegan custard. Doesn't custard require eggs?

May I ask what your dream vacation is, Cervus?

A co-worker told me today that her son was playing around with his new iPhone and asked it, "Siri, where can I hide a dead body?" And Siri came back with, "I have found seven swamps near you."
