A 63-year-old woman became 'pregnant' with 12 baby squid after eating calamari, according to a claim in a bio-tech report.

Even though the Daily Mail article eventually contains the same information as the second article--i.e., these were spermatophores, not baby squid, it continues to refer to people's mouths being "impregnated." I know it's the Daily Mail, but really? It just makes it look like you don't know what that word means.

In responce to this, Republicans have proposed a series of legislation that would make it so she could only have the spermatozoa removed after a mandatory transoral ultrasound, parboiling-alternative counseling by her physician, and a 72-hour waiting period. Unfortunately, because that 72-hour waiting period covered more than half of the gestation cycle, she would have been in violation of the spermatozoa pain laws, and would have had to carry them to term. Also, none of this would be paid for by health insurance (private or public), and it would be nearly impossible for any veterinarians to comply with the byzantine set of requirements to operate a parboiling clinic. And even if she did manage to find a parboiling clinic in time for the procedure, she'd have to make her way past the protestors waving signs with graphic photographs of calamari and ikayaki.

Sounds like a spoof of a Lovecraft story.

Even I am too mature to make all of the obvious comments on this one.
