Default "They all weigh 150 pounds"

This has been making the rounds on tumblr. I'm wondering if anyone can help find the source of this image and whether the info is accurate?

It looks roughly accurate to me. I think the 6'1 may be a bit off; she looks slightly thicker than the shorter girl.

The basic premise is very true, though. The number on the scale is only one factor in how you look; how tall you are and where you carry the weight will also change the look of your body dramatically.

Cockeyed.com did something like that several years ago. The chart relies completely on people telling the truth in regards to height and weight, but it's very interesting to look at.

I think the premise is correct, but wonder about the accuracy.

I'm 5'4", wear a size 10/12, am shaped quite a bit like the third lady, and weigh more than 150. I'm not very muscular, either.

I'm 5'8", 155-160 lbs, and am thinner around the middle than the 5'8" woman but I have a larger chest.

Yes, this is what I am wondering about. Not whether this could be true, but just whether this particular image is accurate. I'd like to use it as a good example of differences in body types/builds but I don't want to post it around without knowing the source and accuracy of it.

I don't know why, but it looks like the Daily Mail to me.

How'd you do that snopes? My TinEye ping failed miserably.

ETA: I also doubted myself due to the "stone" factor.

I know often a persons shape doesn't reflect their weight, but based on the people they chose I don't see what their point is. It seems like they've picked larger to smaller body shapes for height and weight, and I don't see what that's so surprising considering that the taller you are the higher the weight range 'allowance', though I'm a little surprised that the second woman is a size 18 compared to the shorter woman's 14. I think one of them is wearing the wrong size, though it's hard to judge from picture alone. It's just such a large gap between what at glance seems like such a small difference, though perhaps she is slighter wider on the shoulder.

The sizes it says underneath are in UK sizes. The third woman is size 12, but that's something like a size 8 in the US.

.
She's quite a bit wider at the shoulder and her bones are far larger overall. Also, they might look quite different from a side view, which would change the size.
