There is no convincing evidence that cellphone use poses a threat to human health, according to an extensive review of scientific evidence released Thursday.
A team of scientists with the UK’s Health Protection Agency analyzed hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific studies on the impacts low-level exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (produced by cellphones and other wireless devices) on humans, animals and cells. The 348-page review found no “conclusive” evidence that cellphone use causes cancer, infertility or a threat to brain function. http://www.thestar.com/business/arti...-probably?bn=1 |
