And most of them play games that were cutting edge on graphics and really popular years ago, just not anymore.
My personal favorite was a guy who was ranting about Dragon Age: Origins as being too linear and lacking any meaningful decisions (he apparently played it for about 10 minutes) while singing the praises of Final Fantasy Thirteen (a game that completely lacks any sort of decision making ability whatsoever and is so linear that it might as well have been a rail-shooter). However, this guy's grip on reality was... interesting. He apparently had some sort of filter in his brain that insured that he never actually got, well, anything correct. For the record, he hated the movie Serenity because everyone died at the end (and argued with me when I pointed out that only Wash and Book were main cast members who died) and thought that Australian Funnel-Web Spiders and Bullet Ants were native to the US. |

I don't like the nostalgia for the sake of nostalgia bit, but really the only thing that really bothers me about any of it is that they stuffed Trigger, Buttermilk and etc. in the first place. Just sick in my opinion. What sort of values do people who stuff their own companions display? Ick! I felt sort of disgusted with Roy et al ever since.

Is there anything on the Australian continent that doesn't want to kill you? Besides maybe most of the humans?

I am confused. Which generation(s) raised these lazy unimaginative horrible kids these days? And which generations made and marketed those video games?
I am getting tired of all of these glurges in which children and young adults are getting blamed for being overcoddled, overprotected and whatever, when it is people of the generation complaining who were doing the overcoddling and over protecting and created the very laws and policies they decry. And I am supposed to be entering the phase of my life when I am supposed to start yelling at the neighborhood kids to get off my lawn. |

No, no, no. They aren’t kids... They are whippersnappers. You need to use that term to sound old and cankerous.
