Shaggy dog tale still attracts crowds to pat park’s pooch
It may have proved to be a shaggy dog tale, but a carved canine is still attracting interest from far and wide.
Last summer, film crews arrived in Todmorden after hearing rumours about a lucky dog statue in Centre Vale Park. Psychological illusionist Derren Brown visited the town to film a show for his TV series before later revealing that he had planted the rumour as part of an experiment about luck. http://www.todmordennews.co.uk/news/...ooch-1-4476716
