Comment: I am a fan of the band Radiohead. Specifically, they have released many
albums in their career (so far) and there are 2 in particular that have been released 10 years apart from each other. The first album released in 1997 names "OK Computer" and the other released in 2007 called "In Rainbows". Apparently, if you take the songs on both albums and alternate them, you will get a remarkable listening experience. Each song will flow into the next, despite the fact that both albums have been released 10 years apart. Also, if you make each song have a 10 second crossfade, they will flow even better. Radiohead hasn't confirmed nor denied these theories. You can read more about this 01-10 playlist here: puddlegum.net/radiohead-01-and-10/ |

I have the 01 and 10 playlist on my iTunes. The two albums do seem to mesh remarkably well. I'm not sure whether it was intentional or not, but I do know that when I put the crossfade to 10 seconds and play any other albums, it sounds bloody terrible.
ETA: You also have to make sure you start with Airbag, and that Fitter Happier follows directly after Karma Police. Last edited by Beejtronic; 05 February 2012 at 11:27 PM. |
