Comment: Dr. Calvin Rickson & his invention of a unique bra.

(Dr. Calvin Rickson, a scientist from Ohio State University , has invented
a bra that keeps women’s breasts from jiggling and prevents the nipples
from pushing through the fabric when cold weather sets in.

At a news conference, after announcing the invention, a large group of men
took Dr. Rickson outside and beat the shit out of him.)

Googling only comes up strange sites saying same thing except the state
differed. Very short detail & no marketing leads me to believe it is a
spoff. Hopefully your research team can enlighten me, thx.

Comment: I've found at least 20 versions of this tale, attributed to
different locales, so I assume it's a joke...

I made a traffic stop on an elderly lady the other day for speeding
on U.S. 166 Eastbound at Mile Marker 73 just East of Sedan , KS .
I asked for her driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance.
The lady took out the required information and handed it to me.
In with the cards I was somewhat surprised (due to her advanced age)
to see she had a conceal carry permit. I looked at her and ask if
she had a weapon in her possession at this time.

She responded that she indeed had a .45 automatic in her glove box.
Something---body language, or the way she said it---made me want
to ask if she had any other firearms. She did admit to also having
a 9mm Glock in her center console. Now I had to ask one more
time if that was all. She responded once again that she did have
just one more, a .38 special in her purse. I then asked her what
was she so afraid of.
She looked me right in the eye and said, "Not a damn thing!"

The above website states that Antartica is inhabited. Sounds pretty far
fetched to me. But, what do I know?

My child says they want us to move to Antartica and live in a hot air
balloon house. I respond no one lives there it is only a science research
place. Antartica is too cold.

Then I was directed to the above web-site. I ask becuase I truly do not
know.

Please verify true or false for me.

Comment: I was just wondering whether or not there is any truth to an
article posted on a website regarding the Obama Administration approving
that February will now have "2 extra days" starting in 2012 FOREVER
because the earth has titled on its axis and the days are required and
necessary. When I searched your site using various keywords, I didn't get
any responses regarding this issue. Interestingly, the date this was
posted was on February 28, 2011.

The website link is as follows:

http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/headl...-2-extra-days/

Interesting to note: I DID NOT receive this link through email or viral
messages, I simply stumbled upon it while googling/searching information
regarding the popular issues surrounding "polar shifts" and the world
titling on it's axis & being toppled upside down. A few comments on that
sight simply call it a hoax while others seem to believe the information
in the article.

McAfee Site Advisor blocks certain content on this site because it comes
from "potentially dangerous or suspicious sites" which gave me a first
"caution" as to it's validity.

However, a lot of the hype out there would argue that if this article is
true, it may have been kept on the "down low" because of the already
frenzied hysteria regarding an "axis shift" or "pole shift" in the
mainstream. Many would argue that the information would be kept low key to
avoid an "official administration" doing something that lends validity to
a viral suspicion. By adding 2 days to February forever many would think
that the President's lending more validity to those beliefs which could
possibly create mass hysteria and "rioting & looting" to ensue because the
President's verifying the truth to those beliefs of an axis shift. This
article states that the reason President Obama's administration
created/approved the 2 extra days forever is directly due to an axis
shift.

I can see why, if it were true, that it wouldn't have made a lot of
mainstream attention specifically to avoid it creating more of a frenzy.
Many "pole shift" believers think that our Government is keeping secret,
or aren't commenting, regarding these beliefs because they don't want to
feed the hype and cause an unnecessary outbreak of hysteria and would
instead rather our nation and/or world be surprised.

I think it's an interesting topic. While many connect this "shift" with
the return of Jesus Christ & the Rapture, I personally believe WHAT the
Bible says about no man being able to predict the day Christ will return
because it states in the Bible that not even CHRIST himself knows the day
or hour, but only God knows.

I do, however, believe it's possible for the planet to go through some
serious changes that could be devastating without it being linked to "end
of days" or the Return of Christ. Our family doesn't allow this hype to
consume our lives, but we are willing to have a "survival bag" for each
family member in the event that it becomes necessary to have the
"essentials" to survive. This is simply smart, because even if we had a
tornado hit (which is highly possible where we live--which is Tornado
alley) it would be important to have essentials.

I would love to know what snopes.com's viewpoint or research shows
regarding this particular topic. I do apologize if you already have
information & I simply didn't use good enough search words to find
anything you already have existing.

Comment: Just a funny joke; or is it...?

Suzie Smith stood and walked to the podium.
She said, "I have a praise. Two months ago,
my husband, Tom, had a terrible bicycle wreck
and his scrotum was completely crushed. The
pain was excruciating and the doctors didn't
know if they could help him." You could hear
a muffled gasp from the men in the
congregation as they imagine the pain that
poor Tom must have experienced. "Tom was
unable to hold me or the children in his
arms," she went on, "and every move caused
him terrible pain."

We prayed as the doctors performed a delicate
operation, and it turned out they were able
to piece together the crushed remnants of
Tom's scrotum, and wrap wire around it to
hold it in place." Again, the men in the
congregation cringed and squirmed
uncomfortably as they imagined the horrible
surgery performed on Tom. "Now," she
announced in a quivering voice, "thank the
Lord, Tom is out of the hospital and the
doctors say that with time, his scrotum
should recover completely." All the men
sighed with unified relief.

The pastor rose and tentatively asked if
anyone else had something to say. A man stood
up and walked slowly to the podium.

He said, "I'm Tom Smith." The entire
congregation held its breath.

"I just want to tell my wife the word is
sternum."

Comment: Could you please investigate this and let us know if it is true
or false? Seems like the president is a little young to have gone over
the edge and the report seems highly suspicious (it wasn't that long ago I
saw the president interviewing on his book, maybe last year?) Thanks!

Comment: Concerning Myron Kropp's Bangkok piano recital: I read this same
account to 300 Piano Technicians Guild Members at our California State
Convention in 1983, with a perfect straight face. Everyone enjoyed it
immensely. The Baldwin Piano Company Tech Rep told me afterwards that
there is a photo at the Baldwin factory in Cincinatti of porters carrying
that very piano out of the Erawan Hotel in Bangkok on their shoulders with
broken strings and pieces of wood flying out of the piano. I carry a copy
of this story with me on my piano service calls. Baldwin is now owned by
Gibson Guitar Corp., and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. Did that
picture make it to Tennessee? Give them a call

Comment: I have heard this "quote" a few times, but I just can't believe
it's authenticity. Can a politician really be this stupid?

“Abortion in any form is wrong,” said Santorum in 2000, three years after
the tragedy. “Except for my wife. If your wife’s life was at stake and the
only thing that could save her was an abortion, well, too bad. Your wife
will have to die. It was different with my wife. You see, I love her. I
don’t even know your wife’s name.”

Comment: I have seen a rumor that Obama is to destroy the moon, this
showed up on a friend's facebook status so I'll copy and paste it here:

Obama Gives Go-Ahead to Destroy Moon

WASHINGTON - President Obama has officially ordered the moon’s complete
annihilation. When approached for comment, the White House said this
controversial decision “reemphasizes this administration’s message to the
United States - it addresses the concerns our people have regarding
national debt.”

“People don’t seem to realize how many billions of dollars maintenance of
the moon requires,” says Obama. “It would just be so much easier to get
rid of it.”

Unsurprisingly, this development has caused outrage amongst
environmentalists. “What do you think is going to happen to the tides,”
says marine biologist Cynthia Goldberg. “The moon critically impacts all
life on this planet. Without it, the Earth will be a drastic, most likely
uninhabitable hunk of rock. I urge President Obama to reconsider.”

Regardless of the mass effort to halt this legislation, the moon is slated
to be destroyed on February 18th, 2012.

Comment: Recieved this email today... doesn't sound true..

State of Arizona Cancels Month of February

"It has come to our attention that February is considered Black History Month," read the memo from Governor Brewer's desk. "Even though it is the shortest month of the year, we cannot afford such divisiveness in our state."
