Had a coworker bring up the poisoned Halloween candy UL the other day. We were discussing the fact that most kids in this area trick or treat at the mall rather than door to door like they did in our day. She said "well what do you expect after all of those razor blades being hidden in candy happened back in the 80s?" She just scoffed at me and said something like "No it really happened and what's an urban legend?"
Of course she's also the same one who talked about how some people like to shove gerbils up their butts for a sexual thrill. When I told her that it was a UL she confidently responded with "N0, it's a real thing; Richard Gere did it and had to go to the hospital because of it." |

Comment: I have been told that more children are kidnapped during
Halloween than any other time of the year. Also that children are sometimes sacrificed by Satan worshipers during Halloween. I don't believe this to be true but I know several people who will not allow their children to go out on Halloween because of this rumor. Can you please shed some light on this? |
