Comment: Re "Statue" - the article about an Iraqi sculpture, Khalid Alussy, who sculptured a statue depicting an American Soldier kneeling honoring his fallen comrades, with an Iraqi child standing next to him. In the original article, it states that Khalid did the work because he appreciated the American Soldiers liberating him and his people from Suddam Husseim. What bothers me is that you say - ...... the officers did not question him further about his political views - but had they pressed him, they might have learned that he did not do it out of appreciate, but actually hates Americans, etc. Now, my question is WHO "PRESSED HIM" AND FOUND OUT THIS INFORMATION? HOW DO I KNOW FOR ABSOLUTE SURE THAT WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE??????? Did you personally go over to Iraq and interview Khalid? Did one of your staff go over personally and interview Khalid? So many people are taking your web site as the gospel truth. Does anyone ever question you as I am. How can I be absolutely sure that what you are calling False is actually false? |
