Please, forward-loving friends, check out Snopes.com. Bookmark it. Use it as a reference guide, along with a healthy dose of common sense, before you pass on that next prayer chain/crime warning/scam alert e-mail to me. Because I am a good person with a bad temper when it comes to useless e-mail.

I don't care to make a wish and scroll down. I don't want to be involved in a virtual snowball fight. And I really don't want my computer to crash while trying to load 20 "amazing" photos of other people's cats.
