Comment: The Irani yellow badge law for Jews and Christians proves that
Persians are just as stupid as arabs. So what is the big surprise? When the Taliban was in power, they made the Hindu's wear yellow armbands and everyone knows how sub-human the taliban is. |

Comment: In a response about Target Stores not doing this and that, it was
also stated Target was owned by a Company in France. Snopes says "False", only a small bit of ownership by a company in France. I was recently at a Grant Ceremony with Target employees and management, and they "Touted" themselves as being "French Owned". They were the ones to reveal it to me. I was quite shocked they were owned by a company in France. I had never heard that until their own people said it. Do you think the percentage has changed since you said "False" ? The employees sure seemd confident they were owned by a company in France. |

Comment: Your statement that Barack Obama is secretly a Muslim is
scurrilous. He's no more a Muslim than you are, or I am,and I certainly am not. This guy goes to Church. Ya'll must be as ignorant as Flem Snopes in Wm. Faulkner's novels. Either get that claim off of your web page or e-mail me the proof. |

Comment: About your listing, "Black in the white house"....... To me it
is still unclear as to whether it is a real danger or just a rumor. The word hoax is in the statement, BUT..... Please spell it out in no uncertain terms..... either: Yes, this is a real virus danger OR: No, this is only a hoax. Thanx for clarifying your language. |

Comment: I read the article re:ALCU removing military cemetary crosses and still don't understand - is it a rumor or is it true? I felt the explanation was "beating around the bush", so speak, in the paragraph referring to this particular question. It mentioned "individual gravestones" but not the crosses displayed in military cemetaries. Thanks for your help. Frankly, I don't believe it is true, but when I receive the email from persons supposedly "in the know" I question it and try to stop false info on any important subject. |

Comment: I would LOVE to find out who submitted the Teddy Bear in the clouds image. I am here to tell you, that my deceased boss, Rodney Owens, through tears and my begging him to make me laugh on a trip to Oklahoma on Highway 44 in 2003 resulted in the EXACT same Teddy Bear in the clouds. I wasn't in France. I was on an Oklahoma highway. I am telling you this picture is NOT false. It's true if it was taken in Oklahoma in 2003. Please help me! |

Comment: What about the Two-Striped Telamonia spider story? Your site
reprints the story, but there's no comment regarding its authenticity or lack thereof. Too new to be researched yet? |

Comment: I just read the 'rumor' about obama's comments on getting service personell to pay for their own insurance which you labelled "mostly False" I f you had read your own article I think you would agree that it comment should have been "Mostly True". He said it. They put it out on the street to see which way the wind was blowing. And then they recinded and buried it. |

Comment: I am just saying that you seem to say all articles are false and I am not sure if you are saying the whole comment on this article or the award part. ? Where do you get your story and for sure know any are false ??? This is a awesome story and I think the way the world is WE all need stories like this.... to much sick and horror is told and we do know that is so true... I really don't follow your site but a friend of mine does and each time I send something to help his day , I get this kind of stuff back and really sick of it. So start to really put more effort on what you say out there and move on to the sick stories and say they are FALSE |

Comment: The origin of the candy cane. Please check your history. You make christianity look like a corrupt, deceitful religion when you make the false claim that an Indiana man invented the candy cane. It does have Christian origins, but get your facts straight. This is embarrassing. Christians all over are copying this garbage and passing it on as fact. |

Comment: I am so sorry. I am a dope. My kids had received a printed copy of this urban myth from a friend and I was trying to figure out where it came from. I didn't realize the purpose of your site was to dispel these types of myth - I thought you were trying to perpetuate it. I read the green box and the first few paragraphs and did not read all the way down. Just so you know, people out there are taking the green box and printing the myth as is, and passing it along. Perhaps you could make the "False" statement a little more obvious so that we are not confused. Thanks for setting me straight! |
