The pits in stone fruit & apple pips all contain some cyanide; some more than others and it also will vary from tree to tree, or even season to season. But the fruit itself is fine. In any case the dogs would have to eat awful lot of apricot kernels to die. And apple pips are not even worth mentioning, the amount of cyanide is so minute.

My dogs also eat avocados, when I give them piece of mine, and they pick what apricots they can reach. But I do confiscate the stones if I can.
