It would be nice if they'd explained more about what the rule changes were, and what the exact issues are.

I'm not the biggest free market advocate out there, but a business crying to the government because another business is attracting all of their customers is among the least sympathy-inducing pleas I can think of.

But if there is now no meaningful distinction between limos and taxis where Uber operates, and limos are actually less regulated, then the argument should just be that limos are taxis. It would all depend on how taxi is defined, and why limos are not already included in that category. I can have some sympathy for that argument if the facts back it up.
