Too bad there’s no consistency. Mexia we pronounce more or less correctly, but Llano is “LAN-o”, not “YAH-no” and “Lamesa” is “luh-MEE-suh” , not “lah-MAY-sa”. But Manchaca is “MAN-chack”.
