Comment: I recently sent an email about a scam that I thought was new.
Your prompt reply to the submission and the second email on locating your
article regarding the scam was greatly appreciated. It is nice to find
someone who reads and promptly replies to mail in this day and age. And of
course, I did not research your site well enough the first time. The
article did answer my questions when I found it. I forwarded a link to
snopes.com to the person who sent me the email. Your site is a wonderful
reference in trying to educate the boobs who think that everything sent to
them is real and forward it to everyone they know.

I often reply to the people who forward emails to me that sound suspicious
or may not be completely true. I tell them to go to your site to get the
best information available, even if the email may say that snopes.com has
confirmed the information.

every day. Most recently for me, how cell phones were so powerful that
they could pop popcorn (looked so authentic, I believed it and forwarded

realize the history behind Snopes. Thanks you for doing this for us. I
just wish people would use your web site more often. I use it a lot to
check what people send me and reply with a link to your site, if the infor

believe that people have so little regard for the truth. Please keep up

site. I can not tell you how often I have used your information to
respond to absurd email "facts". I not only send the information to the
person that contacted me but I use Replay all, so that anyone that person
sent the email to will see the truth from Snopes.

I find it amazing what people will believe wtihout question. The emails
just scream "check me out before sending me on" but people just do not
listen.
