I think you will find that the major users of sheep spines are in fact sheep, who tend to find them useful for standing up in a non-floppy way amongst other things.

This is my first post here, but this is something I've been thinking of for a while.

Even IF some of these crazy rumors were true, what does it matter, as long as it tastes good? I might be sounding like a brain-washed Fast Food Eater, but to me who cares where McD's gets their meat? Or what they use to make their shakes? As long as they taste good, what's the big deal? People are just paranoid about what's in their food, and I'm a little bit too, but as long as it's not VISIBLE, it doesn't bother me. And the "fact" that McD's is the "Big Company that is like "(NFBSK Word) what we put in the burgers, as long as they taste good, that's what matters"
McD's burgers are 100% beef, their fries are fries, and their chicken is mostly chicken. Their shakes are shakes and their Coca-Cola is Coca-Cola.

Oh, and BTW, my school's hamburgers are mostly soy.

And you can get Shamrock shakes around St. Patrick's Day, and it's the worst time to get the chocolate shakes as they mint shake is mixed in. EW!

There's a Big Boy restaurant here where the mascot on the sign is white during the day, but black at night. The rest of the white on the sign (letters, etc.) doesn't change, just Big Boy himself.

McD's fries; aged 4-1/2 years
 

I was so intrigued by the "french fries never rot" theory they were talking about on the special features on "Supersize Me" that the very next day, I went out and bought an order of fries at McDonalds. Came home, put it in a jar, and the jar has not been opened since. I put the date on top of the jar: Dec. 19, 2004.
So, now 4-1/2 years later, this is what they look like today:

So, they are obviously breaking down somewhat, at least as noted by their now much darker color, but whether they'll ever rot completely???!! :confused:

I think the reason McDonald's doesn't sell onion rings is pretty simple: Why should they? What benefit would be gained? It's probably wouldn't affect anyone's decision to eat there, but would be one more option to have to ask with every order. "Do you want that with fries or onion rings?"

This is also the driving reason behind the value meals. Instead of having the customer recite his whole order to you, all he has to do is say, "Give me a number 6."

McDonald's is also famous for it's French fries. At Disneyland, there's a McDonald's booth near Adventureland. The only thing on the menu is French fries and there's always a line.

Human hair is very expensive.

Other than this, I have worked at Subway, and the bread is, well, bread.

The Burger King Onion rings are made from diced onions formed into uniform rings. So it can be done on a fast food basis. Just not well.
