Drunken Hitler photo
This is a photo of Hitler which has shown up without attribution on an image web site. NSFW some nudity.

I realize this is probably fake. Does anybody know where it came from?

It's a still from the new Disney comedy That's So Hitler.

GenYus234 05 January 2011 08:28 PM

Is it just me, or is the "fading" way too uniform?

snopes 05 January 2011 08:31 PM

It's a photo of the infamous Beer Hall Putschy.

Twankydillo 05 January 2011 08:40 PM

It's true, but not what you think ... Hitler's the one on the right. Wanting to escape for a casual night out, he was in disguise. The other two are his body guards.

Godwin's Law: Collary 34: Given enough time, all online discussions—regardless of topic or scope—inevitably end up being about Hitler's tits.

The ones I read always end up containing the complete works of Shakespeare...

Back on topic though, I wonder if it was a contemporary propaganda image (for the Allies) or whether it's a more modern job?

The image looks oddly familiar, but I can't figure out why. I just feel like I've seen it somewhere before.

RivkahChaya 05 January 2011 11:55 PM

I knew he must've been drunk when he was shaving one day. Only explanation for how he ended up with that moustache.

TripleAAA 06 January 2011 02:10 AM

That's not Hitler. It's a fuchs with mange.

Gutter Monkey 06 January 2011 07:17 AM

This site (NWS) has the photo in colour. Looks like a still from a video to me.

Here's my favorite picture of Hitler. It speaks to his posterity about his defeat. I once saw this on a poster, and only recently found it again.
It's titled Hitlers Last Day
He is obviously standing outside his bunker and speaking with a subordinate.

That proves it's a fake, because everyone knows that era was strictly black-and-white until the History Channel colorized it.

From the comments:

I must know whether this is a real German word.

Google translation thought so:

German to English translation
Breasts Bonus

I think that the machine behind them is an airplane. It's pretty indistinct, but given the context and general shape I'd lay odds it's a Fieseler Storch.

ETA: The photo that GutterMonkey links makes it pretty clear it's a Storch.

Real in the sense that it would be understood? Yes. Real in the sense that it is playing an active part in todays German communication? Not so much.

I could see it used by a bunch of male highschool kids describing the assumed reason a female student gets better grades that them.

"Titten" is the German equivalent of "tits" and has about the same "bad word factor".

As one of the comments says, the aircraft (a Fieseler "Storch") has a civilian (and non-German, maybe Czech but I'm not sure) registration - which proves it's a modern fake shot in front of a privately-owned "warbird".

As for Tittenbonus, someone writes "Führer- und Tittenbonus!" (Hitler plus tits!), which seems to mean the pic's twice as awesome. Must be a form of German Internet humor (or an inside joke on this site).

Ulkomaalainen 12 January 2011 12:50 PM

Most probably the latter. While my experience with German internet humour is limited (since we don't have any, after all), I've never come across this. I guess either an inside joke about "Führerbonus" or upping the ante.

SatansHobbit 12 January 2011 01:25 PM

It all became too much for Adolf when the Allied High Command began systematically targeting the blouse button producing factories of the Third Reich.

KingDavid8 13 January 2011 10:59 PM

It looks like something that National Lampoon would do, poor-taste humor plus mild nudity. Could they be the source for this?
