Md. man hopes to reclaim pet alligator after seizure

Story here.

I think that gators are better off in the wild, a preserve or a well run zoo, but this man does have conditions. I know one thing: he had on hell of a security system until just recently.

I read the whole article waiting to find out whether it was the man or the alligator that had a seizure, and how that related to the alligator being taken away. It wasn't until I got to the end of the article with no mention of a medical issue for either of them that it finally dawned on me that there is another definition of "seizure." :fish:

I was thinking the same, thing, Onyx--except that I did realize that whoever wrote that headline was only thinking of one meaning of seizure, and probably never realized the implications.

So it wasn't just me then, but my excuse is I have them, seizures that is not alligators. We have crocodiles in Aus.

I didn't even notice that! :-o I should have rephrased the title! Now, does anyone want to contribute to the man's Go Fund Me fund?
I'm no alligator expert, but Blackbeard the gator looks like she's still a juvie. This begs the question: what happens when she reaches maturity?

The stripes are juvenile coloration on crocodilians of all types. That gator isn't even half grown and is still well before the point where her diet switches from small fish and amphibians to large mammals.
