Interesting. Why does that make me strongly suspect that there are things resulting from Mueller's investigation that are likely to convict Manafort?

IMO, that by itself shouldn't. Motions to dismiss a case are fairly common AIUI. If for no other reason, the legal bills from getting a case dismissed before trial would be a lot less than having to mount a full defense.

You're right about that.

This nasty suspicious administration is making me feel nasty and suspicious about them. I should try to keep that under control, and restrict myself to only being suspicious of them for behavior that actually is suspicious. There's plenty of that to go on with.
