People who live in caves

Comment: I found this picture at http://www.protext.com/DUMBING/FunnyPictures.htm and immediately thought of your site.

Yeah... And none of us have NEVER seen this pic before.
I think it's a fox with mange.

MidgardDragon 01 July 2007 08:38 AM

Pfft, so obvious, the date's just backwards. It's actually 01/11/09 and is a prediction of TEH FUTURES!

Now that's just silly...

But consider this - if you blow it up real big, you can clearly see Atta's face in the plane's cockpit window.

...

...

Oh wait...

...

Now it doesn't so much look like him. It could be someone else.

...

I think it's just a shadow.

...

The shadows don't look right. I vote fake.
:p

Comment: I recently heard a rumor about George W. Bush. It stated that,
during a super bowl party, he choked on a pretzel and passed out! Is this
true?

Comment: Is this legit

Comment: I saw this video on myspace that is of a University of Florida
student asking Senator Kerry a question. The video is on YouTube under "UF
Lacks Freedom of Speech." The student is arrested and then shocked by a
taser because of the kind of question he is asking. I don't believe this
one and I usually go to this website when I have my doubts but ya'll
didn't have it. So I figured I would submit it and see what ya'll say. So
help me out is this one true or false.

Now, be fair, snopes. That last one has only been living in a cave for a week or so.

Comment: I seen this on myspace. Is there any truth to it?

This is the boy, Matthew Shepard. On October 7, 1998 Aaron McKinney and
Russell Henderson lead him to a remote area east of Laramie where they
demonstrated unimaginable acts of hate. Matthew was tied to a split-rail
fence where he was beaten and left to die in the cold of the night. Almost
18 hours later he was found by a cyclist who initially mistook him for a
scarecrow. Matthew died on October 12 at 12:53 am at a hospital in Fort
Collins, Colorado. KILLED BECAUSE HE WAS GAY!!!

And to be fair about this one, it was 9 years ago (has it been that long?!) and the peak myspace crew would have been 7 or 8 years old at the time.

BTW, did y'all know that George Bush's Father was President too? And that Vice President dude was like in charge of the Army or something? And they had a war in Iraq, too?

Chloe 28 September 2007 06:56 PM

I heard that Paul McCartney was in another band before Wings.

snopes 28 September 2007 06:57 PM

Who's Paul McCartney?

I thought I remember that as a joke on SNL many year ago. Something like, "She's so young, she thinks the Beatles were Paul McCartney's first backup band...".

Comment: I heard that the US Gov. was heavily indebted to lots of foreign
governments. Does the US government borrow money from foreign governments?

snopes 17 January 2008 12:29 AM

Comment: I heard that Obama has admitted to use of a unlawful drug? Is
this true?

Dr. Winston O'Boogie 17 January 2008 06:54 PM

Actually, didn't a reporter jokingly ask him if he inhaled and his response was "Of course, isn't that the idea?"

snopes 09 February 2008 04:33 AM

Comment: Is Obama half white or any heritage there of?

No, this one is actually false. Turns out it was all a hoax put on by the Laramie Chamber of Commerce to boost tourism. I went to school in Laramie, so I know.

Comment: I heard that during the filming of "the wizard of oz" a munchkin
hung himself. If you look closely, u can c him hang himself onscreen. Go 2
