Wounded Warrior Project accused of wasting donation money

A CBS News investigation into a charity for wounded veterans, the Wounded Warrior Project, looks into how the charity spends its donation money.

I've heard about this; what I find ballsy is that their ads are still aired. Perhaps that can't be helped. Look, I understand that charities have to spend some money on promotion and the like, but try to keep it within reason. A $2500 bar tab is not reasonable.

That's somewhat relative. If there are 25 people at the events, it's conceivable that the tab could reach $2,500.

$100 in alcohol per person for charity employees is still a lot of charity money being spend away from the charity. And given that the overall cost was $6,000 per person, I'm guessing that $2,500 bar bill was probably the least of the expenses.

I saw the overhead shot of the conference venue in the link. Definitely looks like one of those places that places a mint on the pillow.
